A Puritan's Mind Needs to Raise a Final $50,000 to Make the Move Towards Full Time

We've raised most of what we need. We are almost there and we need your help to raise the final $50,000.
For almost 20 years A Puritan's Mind has operated as a free site on the internet to glorify Jesus Christ in bringing Reformed Theology to the world. From that desire I have been able, over the last two years, to launch the Puritan Shop, republishing out of print puritan works as eBooks and print-on-demand books.

God has been exceedingly gracious to keep the work of A Puritan's Mind going. Some people have begun supporting A Puritan's Mind financially because they believe, as I do, that the ministry furthers the Gospel of Christ through republishing these Puritan and Reformed works, and in doing so it is worth this effort. In two years we've published over 130 puritan and reformed titles so far. This has not been easy, and over these last few years I've been working two full time jobs to support making this happen.
In looking to expand the work, about a year ago my parents gave A Puritan's Mind an acre of land to move to Tennessee (see the image below), build a home, a production studio and transcription center to work full time on the ministry. Seeing that door open, I began saving what I needed to make that a reality in order to be able to work full time on these projects. As of today, I've managed to saved most of the cost to build on my own, but need a final $50,000 to finish the project. My intention is not only to have the transcription and publishing process continue, but also offer video series on various subjects. In order to do that I need a suitable place to film and edit so I can work on this full time.
In order to raise that money, I'm looking for 1000 people to support A Puritan's Mind with a $50 purchase of Puritan Books through the Puritan Shop. 100% of the proceeds will go to finish funding the project to build both the studio and editing center.

I am not asking you to simply give a donation. For your $50 the Puritan Shop will in turn give you 15 of our most popular books in eBook format as an instant download - this is regularly $150 if you bought them separately. And these include the two new Reformed workbooks in the Reformed Apprentice series. CLICK HERE to take you to the page where you can support A Puritan's Mind to raise the final capital for this project.

Under the Lord's direction and providence I've spent many years building up A Puritan's Mind. But I am longing to take it to the next level and finally work on it full time. It is my heart's desire to put all my efforts into glorifying Christ through this ministry. "But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay," (Jeremiah 20:9).

Thank you for supporting the cause to continue to bring some of the best Puritan and Reformed literature back into print and have A Puritan's Mind go full time. CLICK HERE

McMahon's New Workbook on Reformed Theology is Now Available - and on sale.

There's never been anything like The Reformed Apprentice in the history of the church.
"And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins." Leviticus 26:23-24.
This Reformed Workbook covers all the varied aspects of Reformed Theology and not simply the doctrines of grace. It is designed to bring studious Christians into a deeper relationship with Christ by interacting with Master Theologians through the history of the church. In this way the student becomes a Reformed Apprentice. To watch the introductory video CLICK HERE.

The Purpose of This New Workbook is a Deeper Walk with Jesus Christ

Do you know what Reformed Theology is?

There are many videos, articles, tracts, and even a few small pamphlets, strewn across the internet that describe Reformed Theology in terms of the "doctrines of grace." This is actually a misnomer. Reformed Theology has dozens of points, and is not simply the doctrines of grace. It covers subjects like hermeneutics, heresy, covenant theology, the solas of the Reformation, the doctrines of grace, christian worship, church government, and much more.

The Reformed Apprentice is a workbook designed to aid the Christian to learn what it means to be reformed by God (Lev. 26:23-24). "Reformed" means something to the historic Christian church, and it should retain that meaning even today.

The main purpose of the study is to aid the Christian in drawing closer to Christ by placing the student under the best Reformed Theologians and preachers of Christ's church.

Do you have a curriculum for bible study and Sunday school that adequately teaches the Reformed Faith comprehensively? What do you use now for homeschooling to teach your children about Christ? This workbook would be of great help in all those ways.

Support A Puritan's Mind by buying a copy. It is available at the Puritan Shop and as a print version HERE. Sign up and receive discounts.

The Reformed Apprentice Workbook Volume 2 Now Available

The second workbook on the Doctrine of Scripture and Biblical Interpretation is available!
This is the second volume in the Reformed Apprentice workbook series, teaching Reformed Theology in a simple but interactive manner. This workbook covers the doctrine of Scripture and the science of hermeneutics (the art of biblical interpretation). The main purpose of the workbook is to come into a deeper knowledge and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The workbook extensively quotes the Reformers, the Puritans, and Reformed theologians from various ages in order to aid the Reformed Apprentice in understanding how the Bible is God's Word, and how to interpret it both exegetically and practically.

"I have to say that without the ministry of Still Waters Revival Books (SWRB), I would have not had such a fire for the Puritans. I obtained quite a few works by SWRB that were bound photocopies of books back in the day. And I started transcribing parts of them in 1998, which in turn became A Puritan's Mind (http://www.aPuritansMind.com). So God has used SWRB greatly in my life."
