Top Democrat Nadler Derides God: “God’s Will Is No Concern Of This Congress”

Excerpt (emphases added): On Thursday Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) spoke on the House Floor about God’s will and a nation in rebellion against God. Greg Steube repeated himself, “I’m going to repeat that line again. Whenever a nation’s laws no longer reflect the standards of God, that nation is in rebellion against him and will inevitably bear the consequences. And I think we are seeing the consequences of rejecting God in our country today. And this bill speaks directly against what is laid out in scripture…” That’s when Democrat leader Jerry Nadler jumped in, “Mr. Steube when any religious tradition ascribes as God’s will has no concern of this Congress.” This was quite stunning – even for a top Democrat. Life News reported: "During the debate yesterday over the Equality Act, a measure that would create a right to kill babies in abortions and force Americans to fund abortions, Republicans accused Democrats of ignoring Biblical values. And a surprising comment from pro-abortion Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler confirmed that to be true. Part of the debate over the pro-abortion measure revolved around sex and gender issues and Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) upset Democrats when he confirmed God makes boys and girls unique. “When men or women claim to be able to choose their own sexual identity, they are making a statement that God did not know what he was doing when he created them,” the congressman said. “The gender confusion that exists in our culture today is a clear rejection of God’s good design. Whenever a nation’s laws no longer reflect the standards of God that nation is in rebellion against him and will inevitably bear the consequences,” the congressman said. “We are seeing the consequences of rejecting God here in our country today.” That promoted a rather shocking comment from Nadler. “What any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress,” he admitted.

"If ye love me, keep my commandments." - John 14:15, KJV

When the First Table Of God's Law Falls Serious Judgments Follow, Related To Violations Of Both the First and Second Tables of God Law, by Dr. Steven Dilday (Free SWRB MP3)

Summary: A fascinating and fearful sermon about how violations of commandments one to four inevitably lead to violations of commandments five to ten. The ultimate result being atrocities like the wanton murder of pre-born babies (abortion -- and even the selling of the physical parts of these murdered children by satanic groups like Planned Parenthood), same-sex marriage, etc. Ignoring and violating the first table of God's law destroys individuals, families, churches and nations.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. - John 15:10, KJV

Jim Dodson Reviews and Recommends the Puritan Hard Drive

JimDodson.jpg

If you love the Bible, then you may well be Reformed. If you think of yourself as Reformed, but you have seldom or have never read older Reformed literature, prepare to be challenged. The Puritan Hard Drive provides primary sources and depth of theological and spiritual insight which is lacking in much of what is passed off as genuine Reformed theology. If you think of yourself as conservative, the older Puritan and Reformed authors will help you sort reality from myth in your quest to be truly Reformed. There are more solid resources for less money here than anywhere else. I highly recommend you take responsibility for your soul and spend a few shekels for this cup of cold water in the midst of the modern religious desert.
